Bikepacking routes

Ride the routes yourself.

Over the last few years I’ve ridden some of the most beautiful trails and roads on my bicycle. Most of these routes were part of multi-month journeys across continents, but they can just as easily be ridden at your own pace.

I’ve documented these rides on Komoot in a number of collections. You can explore the routes there and download the GPX files to use on your navigation device, or simply follow them on your phone.

Please note that some of these routes were recorded a while ago and conditions may have changed. Always check local information and adapt the route if necessary.

Adriatic to Baltic

This collection mainly follows Andy Cox his route through Eastern Europe, with some of my own small reroutes added. Starting in Trieste, you’ll ride North towards Latvia.

The surfaces vary between paved, fields, sand and gravel. I recommend a bike with a minimum of 45mm, plus good gearing for climbing.

European Divide trail Route collection

These routes include my full ride of the European Divide Trail designed by Andy Cox and my way back home again through Norway.

The surface is mainly gravel and I highly recommend a minimum of 45mm tires.

South East Asia Collection

This collection is my own route through South East Asia. You’ll be riding through Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Expect a wide variety of roads and cultures but the roads are mostly hard packed gravel or paved.
